Name of the plan: Power of Instagram

Aim of the plan: The power of celebrities advertising products, targeting young people.
Spreading Finnish design Iittala to Japan.Target group is Japanese citizens.After the positive effect of Moomin, Iittala could be blooming right after that.


This is planned to the wealthier Japanese's,who appreciate Finnish design (Already through Marimekko or Moomin products).For the spread of this we could use Finnair. Finnair has a lot of Japanese customers travelling and for example by serving the meals in the first class from Iittala´s plated and for example Kastehelmi mugs.  This flight is very important due to the positive spread this makes on the Japanese and them brings the products back to their country help the spread a lot.
This Implementation can solve the issues of Japanese otherwise not knowing about the product and this way the products gets more known and for example they can then find the product in Finland from Iittala´s local stores.



Tools used in this is partnership and communication with Helsinki Vantaa Airport and especially Finnair.

Social media tools used in this are instagram and advertising through Finnair and social media influencer. Social media influencers influencing Japanese would be the perfect fit for this.These tools were the best possible and influencing the right people and affecting their buying behaviours.

Privacy used in this is strict laws since when working with multinational influencers the rules might not be the same as in Finland.Using protected mails and spesifying laws and what the aim for the product and this partnership is.

In the future my plan will be implemented though how well the spread is going, adding more influencers or for example spreading Iittala to other companies who fly the route as well.My implementation is open to changes and moving factors.We must keep the product on floating so for example starting to sell it in exclusive places in Japan (higher price) could be an option swell.
