Twitter is something I am less aware of and I have not seen Twitters impact on the business life compared to the fact of how much of a big impact Instagram has.
Twitter has an different way of marketing for the product, Twitter is not marketed as much trough post but more rather through adds used on the app, promoting tweets or accounts,This way your product gets a bigger audience than what it normally would get.

Starbucks in an app which uses Twitter for promoting the brand.Starbucks uses twitter to promote products and also to interact with customers.

Social media tools which are most known for me is Instagram and paid as though Instagram which companies use on influencers.
For example Chiara´s pricing for #Advertising post is around 12,000 $   for an instagram post promoting the product.

I looked into 3 companies and how much they made through influencers instagram posts. Italian rapped known as Fedez and her now wife Chiara Ferragni´s a Social Media influencer has a huge impact on these firms by promoting them through instagram as being part of their very anticipated wedding.

Chiara Ferragni´s Dior dress was designed by the Maria Grazia Chiuri herself (Creative Director of Dior) The social and digital spread in value for the dress was around 5.2 million dollars and this is only the impact of the dress she wore.

Kylie Jenner makes around one million for a paid post on instagram.Kylie Jenner advertised fashion nova.Kylies instagram post could have generated fashion nova in 50.000 Dollars in total sales and the whole brand grid 600 % in the past year thank to many influencer including Kylie Jenner and Cardi B.



Differences with these too apps is the fact that instagram is more used and more popular.Instagram users  (1 Billion on a monthly basis) twitter users( 321 million monthly users).Twitter is used more through adds and pinned tweets to appear on more feds, where instagram is more based on promoting the product through your own pictures.

Companies should use more these two apps in a day to day life, since social media interaction with possible customers is everything.When scrolling through your phone on instagram and you see a post promoting some product the next time you see it in the stores you might be more eager to buy it since you already have an idea about the product.
Just also by promoting day to. day activities and interacting with customers keeps the brand on people mind more and affect their buying behaviour through this.




Conclusion

In the business world social media is used in various ways.For example big companies use influencers and celebrities to get their product spread wider.For example my workplace has started using facebook to promote our product.We even organised an easter giveaway which got a lot of good attention.The influence of social media is really huge in everyday world now, since everyone uses it and if the spread is popular it can grow in sales by a lot and influence the company in a very positive way.

Good example of social media

Nikes original "Just do it " slang was simple but it sticked into people mind and became a catch erase for the brand.That was marketing at its finest.

Bad example of social media

One of the most controversial and in bad light being ads last year was Pepsis add Featuring reality star Kendall Jenner.
The add showed Kendall makes peace in the black lives matter protest with the protestor and police and Kendall settled the debate in the add by giving a can of pepsi.That caused an immediate black flash and was pulled very fast.The add was not though through and was very disrespectful to the whole community, companies should not take part in political situations and use it to their advantage, since they are real issues in the world.
